Obiettivi e speranze

What is proposed Latinitatis Centrum Europae.

The CLE is proposing a series of ambitious goals, certainly not easily accomplished. First is to develop and propose ideas and programs for the preservation and revaluation of the Latin, Greek, classical humanism and culture in general, with a particularly back to the late-Latin, early Christian, medieval, Renaissance and modern era, and that in view of the interdisciplinary work of true European-style, able to blend into the fabric of science, culture and philosophy of the times today, giving impetus to various kinds to the debate on major issues of contemporary society.
is the intention of CLE in the coming years to organize various events for such purpose, to achieve harmony with the university and school notes and look for collaborations with Italian and foreign academies and institutions. In this way we want to contribute to the rediscovery and revaluation of assets, partly forgotten and certainly underestimated.
The Latin is not just that of Virgil or Cicero, but also the literary heritage of the Christian writers who rely less and less in school programs that now provide, in many European countries, a drastic reduction in the teaching of the language of our continent communis . The
"Latinitatis Centrum Europae" is oriented towards the promotion of the highest values of humanity: the individual human right to a dignified life, the right of the peoples of the world to respect their civilization and culture, the right of all men of good will to a reasonable life in peace and prosperity. The peaceful coexistence with mutual respect of the characteristics of each nation, each civilization, of the various world religions, traditions and ways of life, the dialogue between people of all backgrounds and all life experiences are key to the way we gave to "humanity." We intend to strive to make new contributions to building a world in which they can live with different cultures and philosophies Divita. Our work should also be a bridge between Europe and the world, meaning the exchange of experiences and concepts ideals. High ancient philosophy and humanistic in its emanations best teaches us the values of tolerance, respect, love of neighbor and friendship beyond the limits of normal.
